Coed Talon is an ideal location for a perfect holiday venue offering peace and tranquility or a starting point for exploring the natural beauty of Snowdonia, Mid Wales.

Our Guest House is ideally situated in quiet seaside village of Llwyngwril on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

The village is just a few miles from Tywyn to the South and Fairbourne to the North. A regular bus service is available within easy reach on the A493.  Llwyngwril also has a railway station offering travel along the coast between Aberystwyth and Pwllehli as well as links to the Midlands and London.

The house is a few minutes walk from local amenities including a Tearoom, Craft Gallery and a Public house

There are many walks in the village and surrounding area to take you into the hills for spectacular views over Cardigan Bay or visit its lakes, forests and waterfalls.

Why not take a stroll along the pebble beach, where dolphins can be seen during the summer.

If you like golf we have courses at Aberdovey, Fairbourne, Dolgellau and Harlech. Fishing is also popular in the area at Talylyn Lake, Creggenan Lakes and Dolgellau, together with river and sea fishing. We have beautiful uncrowded beaches to relax or play.

For enthusiasts there are many steam railways in the area. We are close to the national cycle route and we offer safe storage for cycling equipment as well as drying facilities should the weather let you down!

The Snowdonia area is well know for it's Bird watching and we often have numerous birds in the garden. Walking is available no matter what your fitness level, from the flat Mawddach trail along the estuary to the more strenuous Cader Idris. Walk across the Estuary bridge to Barmouth for lunch or continue on to the Panorama Walk above the town. There is also the ever popular Precipice Walk, to name but a few.

The National Parks In Wales cover almost a quarter of the country
